Brown Brothers Winery announces three-day wine and food experience coming to Townsville.

Brown Brothers is heading up north this winter bringing a unique winery experience on the road for an epic Wine and Food Festival.

Over three days the festival will offer various wine, food and entertainment  experiences partnering with local businesses and venues.  

The festival kicks off Friday evening 25 June with a unique collaboration with Townsville's premier riverside  venue ‘A Touch of Salt’. Guests will enjoy roving canapes before sitting down to a decadent three-course  dinner with matched wines from Brown Brothers’ exclusive Cellar Door range. The intimate dinner will be co presented by Brown Brothers' restaurant Head Chef Bodee Price and A Touch of Salt’s Executive Chef Michael Brine. 

The Saturday will see Brown Brothers friends from Grapes of Mirth join them on the road for their first-ever  Queensland comedy show 'Grapes of Mirth Goes Troppo' at Cluden Park racecourse. The perfect pair, Grapes  of Mirth is the bringing together an entire afternoon of comedy and wine; sharing a wine, sharing a  conversation and sharing a laugh. Giggle your way through an incredible line up Australia’s favourite  comedian’s including Merrick Watts, Peter Helliar, Luke McGregor, Celia Pacquola, Llyod Langford and local  favourite Danielle Walker, as you relax on the lush lawns under the huge shade trees while you feel those  festival vibes. You can expect nothing less than top comedy, tasty food, live music and of course your favourite  Brown Brothers wines. 

Finally, Sunday will host the ultimate wine and food experience, kicking off with a long Prosecco Brunch back  at Cluden Park racecourse, followed by an all-ages Wine & Food Festival in true Brown Brothers style. The  festival will be alive with local musicians, kids’ activities and various wine and food experiences promising to be  an unmissable sensory experience for the whole family.
