Fashions on the Field

Cluden Park proudly hosts North Queensland’s first and largest Fashions Series during our Winter Racing Carnival.

With over $70,000 in total prize value on offer across the Carnival, this new format sets a benchmark for race day fashion events in the region.

Held over three major race days – the 2YO Classic Race Day, Ladies Day, and the Townsville Cup – the Fashions on the Field competition showcases competitors finest race-day attire, with participants donning their most striking, imaginative, and head-turning ensembles.

The winner of each race-day in the classic and contemporary category will be invited to represent their outfit in the Fashions Series Final, winning the Grand Prize of $10,000 cash and a trip to Derby Day in Melbourne, including flights, accommodation, and exclusive access to one of the country’s most prestigious racing events.
