Race Day Guide: Ray White Townsville Ladies Day
You’ve bought your ticket, you’ve picked your outfit and your lift is sorted; how else can you prepare for Ray White Townsville Ladies Day?

Gates open!
Please follow the carpark marshal's instructions for drop-off and enter via the heritage ticket box gate. Make sure to scan the Check in Queensland QR code upon entry.
Move right on through to the Figtree Lawns or set up on the Trackside Lawns in preparation for race 1.
From the time you arrive you can register for Fashion Stakes by scanning the QR Code on the registration corflute signs that will be spread around the Figtree and Trackside Lawns.
11am
Blushous Beauty will be offering make-up touchups in the Figtree Lawns until 3pm.
The first of our musical acts get underway at centre stage on the Figtree Lawns. Matilda Duncan and Justin will be bringing upbeat and cruisy music to get the day started.
Guests can also enjoy food and beverages from any of our many vendors!
In addition to our bar, guests can also choose from the Brown Brothers stand-alone bar and other activating brands, including:
- Gordon’s Pink Gin
- Somersby
- Smirnoff Seltzers.
A large selection of food trucks will be on hand to cater for a wide array of appetites, large or small. These include:
- Sun's Chinese Dumplings
- Zambrero
- Smokin & Grillin Townsville
- The Feel Good Foodie Food Truck
- Woodfire Pizza Townsville
- Brophy's BBQ Rib Shack
12:10pm
Registrations close for Fashion Stakes, and all registrants move to the Coffee Club Pavilion entry to be organised into your categories.
Fashion Stakes will then get underway!
Fashion Stakes will be scheduled as follows:
- 12:10 - Milinary category will be judged
- 12:33 - After the first race - Contemporary and Classic Lady categories will be judged
- 1:08 - After Race 2 - Gentleman category will be judged
- 2:00 - Winners of Fashion Stakes will be paraded on Centre Stage in the Figtree Lawns

Get trackside for race 1!
2pm
Congratulate the Laser Clinics Australia Fashion Stakes winners as they’re paraded through the Figtree Lawns.
Raymond Drake and Isaac take centre stage to play a mixture of easy listening beats and chart-topping favourites.
2:50pm
Don’t miss your last chance for makeup touch-ups from Blushous Beauty before they close up at 3pm.
4:13pm
Get trackside for the last race of the day!
4:45pm
Get ahead of the game and view the Cleveland Bay Handicap and TAB Townsville Cup runners as they complete exhibition gallops on the track.
5pm
Kick-on in the Figtree Lawns with DJs from Very Casual as the Official Afterparty gets started!
